Hi! I’m Emilio Quaia, Deputy Editor for Abdominal Imaging for Insights into Imaging, and from the University of Padova in Italy. My #FromTheExperts selection contain four articles that I feel push the boundaries in abdominal imaging – I hope you enjoy them!
I'm glad to share my first Editorial published in Radiology @rsnasky.bsky.social!

🔍 In this article, I discuss the study by Matuschewski et al. investigating the MRI-based advanced imaging analysis and machine learning to predict HCC molecular profile.

Hi everyone, I’m Carlos F. Muñoz-Núñez, Deputy Editor for Thorax Imaging for Insights into Imaging, and a cardiothoracic radiologist and Chief of Section in the Radiology Department at Hospital Universitario y Politécnico La Fe in Valencia, Spain.
🎯 Increasing the CT attenuation threshold to 20 HU for lesions < 4 cm and eliminating washout CT for true adrenal incidentalomas, together with recommendations for endocrine assessment, will significantly decrease the over-investigation of overwhelmingly benign adrenal lesions.
🧠 The authors of this study proposed a paradigm shift in adrenal incidentaloma evaluation.

By increasing the CT attenuation threshold to 20 HU for lesions <4 cm and eliminating washout CT from the diagnostic algorithm, they aim to reduce unnecessary imaging and interventions.
