Sequencing databases are vital to interpreting genomes, but come at a cost and requires community support. Recently, FungalDB and VeuPathDB have moved to subscription services. If you use these resources, please explore the changes and consider joining the community effort to sustain them.

Historically, genetic research has focused on specific populations, but by addressing these gaps, we can create benefits for everyone. By embracing our differences, we can turn them into strengths.
