Hi, have some Bluesky (RL) facts about me:
1) Politically non-aligned, US voting card says “None,”
2) Hard working Dad, aka remarried widower who loves horses, coffee & my dog,
3) Lives life as only a fox would,
4) Sports a long moustache IRL,
5) Pragmatic professional scientist, engineer & inventor
(rolls a penny inside the cone, letting it go round, and round, and round…)
Sounds like you’re well on your way to a long, healthy life… 🫶👍🏻
Glad you’re watching that.
Wife was type 1, and then her kidneys failed. She had two strokes, the later one took her. A week after her first stroke, I got a call from the transplant office that they had a donor. They denied her after that. She passed away within two years.
Yup, just been following these sorts of things since I lost a wife to diabetes. Appreciate you sharing the information, (thank you!) but there is just so much misinformation occurring on health information that I try to understand what’s the actual claim- when something doesn’t make sense to me.
Ohhhhkay… but that still seems like half a loaf. Maybe enough to reduce the amount of immunosuppressants required (good!), but doubt it would eliminate the response without steroidal therapy(???)
How’d they get past the immune system response due to a non-genetic match? That doesn’t seem logical unless you repress the hell out of the T cells, which tends to result in cancers going ape sh*t….
Call in the FBI & the DOJ!
(Its not like they’re doing anything useful otherwise, right? Right? sigh.) Also… Ohio… sheez.
Worse, it was built by “I know better than engineers with decades of experience,” capitalists.
Humanity… humanity is what’s wrong with people, and its why I became a furry. Not that some of them are much better.
Q: How many republican congressmen does it take to screw in a lightbulb?

A: We’ll never know, because they’re too busy screwing us over.
And I will just satisfy myself that… my dog still likes me.
