still amazed that this is my legacy
i'd add some subtler motivations:
- normies mildly dislike ai a̶r̶t̶ images without consciously understanding it makes them feel nothing or less (due to lack of human context).
- soon-to-be divorcés mildly like it bc they enjoy all things on a surface level; i.e. it's all porn anyway (erotic or non-).
"don't write in the newspaper that our newspaper is mad"
cuomo canonically has two buttholes
how do i tell bluesky to detect that there are humans in these photos and i would like their heads to not be cut off when they get cropped please thank you
i know this has gotta be freshman-tier art history shit but i just found out norman rockwell's rosie the riveter is referencing michelangelo's isaiah and i gotta say rockwell putting a sandwich in "isaiah"'s hand is just so fucking funny, bro was cooking with this
i know we're all having fun ganging up on this kid, on a platform he doesn't look at. but may i suggest:
we can save this one, and many more like him. we just have to let him in. but it requires less dogpiling, and more gay shit like "forgiveness" and "acceptance".

we must become the trans café.
>made fun of the french to their faces
yet more evidence the old pervert was based
anyone remember this nugget
don't make me tap the "the medium is the message" sign
underrated post. this is an appealingly pithy, non-anthropomorphic way to express what the computer is doing. even my use of "doing" is probably too anthropomorphic, more like "to express what tends to emerge from this collection of nanoscopic logic gates". but i have trouble with the pith part.
millennials are literally the goldilocks generation. born late enough to escape the cold war, but early enough to escape smart phones in school.

the data bears this out, we had the lowest suicide rates in our high school years compared to the generations both before and after us.
not to excuse it, but regrettably, this is very normal online (and irl?) community behavior. ancient really. the language changes but the gatekeeping is universal.
people seeking to exert their one claim to superiority, thinking it will dull the pain.
everyone goes for "What's Up Brothers And Sisters?" but i'm partial to "Zetsubou Brigham"
man this is so funny to me. for 20 years we've been clamoring for this and it's just a shitty plate of death valley shot from the back of a rickety pickup truck that the hippies couldn't even bother to get in focus
i wouldn't say "tv tropes killed hollywood".
but i would say "tv tropes was one of the one thousand cuts that killed hollywood"
i lament the loss of our ancient culture.
on the other hand, sites like this contributed to the CinemaSins-ification of media discourse, leading directly to the soulless corpo-slop of the 2010s, which was a significant factor in the collapse of movies etc. that we are living through now.
TV Tropes is blocking access to the site not only if you have ad blockers on but location tracking off unless you want to subscribe to their $5 a month/$25 a year subscription plan. Even people who have turned their ad blockers off are reporting the site isn’t working. This all seems like a bad idea
i hate it when the escalators stop working at the white house
i don't even know who any of this is, but when comments claiming this is ~45x global GDP i got no choice but to pray
the Flyaway bus is the least sociopathic thing at LAX, doesn't mean they're not still gonna squeeze some microtortures in there
pretty sure they drop people off before coming back around to pick em up.
why would it be this one specific case that topples Hope™ and not the many several cases the scotus has already ruled on this year alone. is this judge experiencing the horrors of subjectivity or something, "i didn't think it would eat my face" etc.?
"for just a little longer"
cool, how long is that supposed to be
