I know that for the most part it's because you are buying a physical product most of the time, but when shit like The Electric State has a budget of 400 Million Dollars, people aren't like "well movies are art, so we should up our netflix subscription to help maintain the industry."

Part of why I love the world building in Ep1 of OTD that drugs have been decriminalized and the side effect of that being Megs pushing drugs on their workers for the sake of efficiency. You know it would happen if the c suites were allowed to do it.

The Honey that Tethys just has on tap is honestly true to places like WeWork having stuff like beer in their break rooms. Drug reliance is also sadly common in a lot of laborious fields, so it's not that far off.
