I like those, and there's a little park with tall grass that's pretty close, but in fall/winter it doesn't seem super humane here since their food stores are in their nests inside

some cultures are more open for sure, and I can see it being more taboo than now, but americans have always been pretty outspoken. No one wearing political pins considers politics some big secret, and we've done that forever

I do agree that russia and china have weaponized american politics

People who say "I don't want politics in my media" actually mean "I don't want *those* politics." We want to be affirmed, not challenged.

And tbh, I get it. Life is hard, and not everything has to be a point of contention. But life could be less hard, and we don't get there with apathy.

and ofc the art criticisms are super weak. Skin tone looks lighter in a piece with wildly different lighting? No way! Hair "backwards" like she parted it down the other side? Likely the art director thought the image looked better flipped 🤷‍♂️
