Lots of amazing achievements to celebrate, too! From dancing competitions, swimming galas, karate tournaments, drama awards to incredible artwork, sharing of historical artefacts and even learning how to complete the monkey bars! Wow…just wow! ⭐️
Primary 4 enjoyed a visit to Kelvingrove Museum and Art Gallery today to take part in an Egyptian workshop! They learned lots of new facts and loved exploring the artefacts! Thank you to all our parent helpers for coming along, too! ⭐️ #educationalexcursion #schooltrip
P7 celebrated Maths Week Scotland by taking part in our Big P7 Outdoor Scavenger Hunt. We worked collaboratively to solve problems and puzzles linked to measurement, fractions, estimating and the four operations.
It’s a ‘Smart Start’ in Room 12! They were on a capital city hunt using the atlases! 🌍

P6, Room 13 enjoyed their last session with the S4 Sports Leaders today. They worked on football skills and teamwork skills. #confidentindividuals #successfullearners #teamwork
P6 had a visit from Mrs Wilson from Hamilton School for the Deaf to learn how they can support friends with hearing loss. They took part in a hearing experiment and learned what it was like first hand, when working in the classroom with lots of background noise. #DeafAwareness #responsiblecitizens
P6 from Room 13 were looking at how stained glass windows are made as part of their Victorians study. They then created their own using a range of media. #creativity #IDLArt
Primary 1 had an exciting visit from author, Debbie Quinn, and her best friend, ‘Leonard the Lion’! 🦁
Debbie read her rhyming book and taught P1 all about making healthy choices to keep them big and strong! They loved listening to the story and had the best time dancing and singing with Leonard! 🦁
Primary 2/3 from Room 5 worked in groups to identify features of castles and labelled pictures of Scottish castles. Great teamwork! #history #socialsubjects #castles 🏰
P2 from Room 4 have been learning about ‘The Senses’ in science. They were learning about ‘taste’ and talked about the fact we all like different things! They used collage to create a plate of their favourite ‘tastes’! 🍕🍊🍓🍯🥦

We were also delighted to welcome Monica Lennon, MSP, and a team from the Children’s Commissioner’s Office to work with some of our P7 pupils on children’s rights and the environment. They were keen to hear our opinions on the Ecocide Bill and the impact that this may have on our young people. 🌍♻️
