The critical consensus around #IronLung affirms my "shooting from the hip" response to the film, in the moments after I screened it: As a half hour or shorter short film, would have rocked.

BRIDGERTON is, if nothing else, a master in the craft of tropes. Their Season 4 storyline is straight out of a fairytale, but predictable is only boring when served without substance or finesse. They've got it in hand.

Agreed. Words matter. Language conveys. It IS productive for people to hear things spoken of in frank, unflinching terms.

It's the difference between communication and *content*
Now that TikTok has changed ownership in the U.S., it's as good a time as ever to again say how much I truly hate algospeak euphemisms like "unalived" and whatnot. I wish people would knock that off.

I've been wanting to create a spot like this for awhile! A WILD MUSE will be for all the little moments in between. Cozy content. Reflection and commentary. Current events. Creative spitballing. Lifestyle and travel. The works.

@28yearslater.bsky.social is very blood, gore, and rock n' roll. Which is exactly the film I needed, as it turns out.

Christmas movies are just as sacred as any heirloom ornament, a tradition that is passed down in families or made for yourself.

Another of the Four Horsemen of the Death of Media Literacy:

It's possible to enjoy a movie/show, while also acknowledging said media is flawed or even *not good*. People struggle to hold those two truths together and that's a real problem.

I DO consider #Frankenstein "girly horror".

I'll be taking no questions, at this time.

Everybody arguing zombies, but I’m a vampire girl at heart.

My perfect vampire lover would have Eric Northman’s height, Bill Compton’s accent, Blade’s skin tone, Alucard’s beauty, Akasha & Lestat’s sex appeal, Louis de Pointe du Lac’s poetic sadness, and Count Chocula’s snack stash!
