You do not have to consume every single tiny piece of bad news in order to be a good person. It’s ok to miss things. Traumatizing yourself isn’t the same as activism. Bearing witness to the point that you’re paralyzed with fear and horror and fury isn’t going to help us get through this.

While I don't know your life, capacity, skill level, etc, I'd like to encourage you that intarsia - both flat and ITR - need not be daunting. Clear teaching is key. I like Suzanne Bryan's YouTube tutorials.

#2ndSockKAL last week of every month? Great idea, @bluegal.bsky.social! While I didn't finish, it got me to a good spot: both sheepy socks now placed on long circulars, ready for cuffs worked two-at-a-time with magic loop. Pattern is 'Les moutons de Biscotte' designed by Louise Robert. #knitsky

Pattern is 'Buttoned Up' by Linda Medina from the book 60 Quick Cowls.

If you remove the band and show us the full loop of the skein, we can better guess at how it will likely knit up. I like the idea of choosing a pattern that uses assigned pooling, but I suspect the rainbow color runs are too long for that. More visual info, please?
