I just always feel like Square is giving us good remasters but making sure stuff is left out. 🤷‍♂️

The pixel remasters lost a ton of content they didn't need to lose, and now so did FFT.

Being faithful to the originals is not all that if they have to cut alot of stuff that were good additions.

Okay, I got ONE gripe - the voice acting means that generic units no longer throw spell quotes out, and as much as I like using unique units, I have an army of generics.

I miss those quotes ._.

So far the update feels so solid. Great voice acting (the English one needs a bigger emotional range, however), great QoL updates, the UI...loving it.

Worth the purchase.
