Colorado Rapids could sell Rafael Navarro for top dollar this winter, reinvest that money at another position, and go into 2026 with Darren Yapi as the presumptive starting striker and I'd be here for it.

Say what you will about Poch. He came over before training to shake hands with the entire press. I’ve covered every USMNT/USWNT game in Colorado the last decade. No coach has done that before with me. He even doubled back cause he thought he skipped me. He didn’t.

I still have doubts though.

Had a really good chat with Altchek a few years ago when Rapids 2 made the Conference Final. He had really good ideas about where NEXT Pro was going on and off the field. Was impressed by him.
