It was a mistake, not finishing the job properly. Despite his young age, little kuroo managed to survive and return to the family in about five days, much to everyone's surprise. News about his disappearance hasn't even spread through the organization yet.

Kuroo was born into the yakuza. But a traitor w/in them kidnapped him when he was young, and left him at some remote place to die, specifically near a river where the red spider lillies are in full bloom.

causes him and kuroo to fight, he takes a moment, locates his center, & backs off a bit, finding the balance between "making sure tobio is safe" and "letting tobio grow as a person and go through human experiences"

Then him and kuroo spend quality time together, focusing on their own relationship 😆

Yes and after the extreme & rough plays, i also think there'd be time for reALLY really soft and tender LOVEMAKING after all that. 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺 very parallel to oikawa's journey w/ his mentality and his relationship w/ tobio. When theyre open and raw and vulnerable in the end, the only thing left is love.
