Why isn’t anyone talking about the constitutionality of all these executive orders? I thought Congress had to, you know, pass laws to make decisions about the budget, etc.

I’m sure the national-security-minded folks who wanted to lock up Clinton for using a private email server will be very vocal in their attacks on Hegseth and Waltz, right? Right?

It is sadly ironic that the SS United States, the fastest ocean liner to cross the Atlantic, is being towed from Philadelphia, the birthplace of American democracy, to Florida to be scuttled in the Gulf of Mexico (sorry, America). So Elon Musk told Trump to kill the bipartisan compromise and push a different bill. Congress defeats Musk/Trump plan, making Trump look weak and seem like Musk is in charge. Brilliant start, guys. Brilliant.
