100% agreed. Lovecraft was an authentic weirdo who created a literary subgenre. He was emotionally stunted & racist, but also erudite, self-doubting, & earnest in his literary endeavors. He died thinking himself a failure but his work, despite all its faults, will be deemed important for centuries.

“Doom Folk Fury” ad was rejected by Insta for violating “politics, social issues, and elections” policy. The problem isn’t the f-word, as that’s been ok before. It must be when I say “No thank you, I do not comply with POTUS, ICE, and the FBI.” But I was so polite and said “no thank you!” #metalsky
