The remnants of Typhoon Halong battered western Alaska overnight. Homes, with people in them, have literally been swept into the Bering Strait.

At least 20 are missing. No comment from any federal agency.

Now, the process moves to the Ohio Redistricting Commission until October 31, when they must pass a bipartisan map. If they fail, Republicans can jam through a partisan map before November 30.

Ohio Republicans have officially missed the first congressional redistricting deadline without ever proposing or negotiating a map.

Democrats are the only ones who’ve put forward a map. It reflects how Ohio actually votes: roughly 56% Rep & 43% Dem. Republicans? No map. No accountability.
