The Kentucky Post writes that during the filming of "Free and Easy," Buster Keaton was prepared to sing "Way Down in Arkansas" but when he discovered Galli-Curci was to be a visitor, he said, "Gosh! I'm not going to let her hear me sing--haven't the nerve!"
