Unreal is unoptimized in the beginning but its the developers decision to optimize it

i mean, I don’t even blame the devs for continuing to use unreal, its easy and fun to make games in it as an artist

Like 2 days ago i installed ue5 and when i opened a starter template and almost immediately needed to turn off lumen on the project cause i was having memory issues
