certain creative liberties or differences between the two mediums take on their own life from there. thats kinda my approach for enjoying the performances of the characters so much in the pilot whether or not its canonically biblically 1 to 1.

with the way they did include a floating arm in the title sequence and then focused on showing it was a retcon arm, im moving forward believing the pilot and any following series would be its own timeline separate from the comic's continuity.
