⠀ Soft music filled the air. Notes came and went, rising and falling in melodic fashion. Amidst the soft and ambient jazz, Tsukishima read the book in his hand. The worn pages turning occasionally. As he read he sipped a dark amber liquid absentmindedly.

Morning had arrived. Dawn breaking over the horizon, sky alight with varying shades of red and orange. Standing out front of Kukkaku’s place was the tall, lanky Fullbringer. He found himself waking early just to watch the sunrise every morning. It had become routine for him at this point.

The taste of bitter liquid brought life to the fullbringer. It was early, dawn having just begun, and Tsukishima was enjoying his morning coffee in peace. With each sip he could feel his grogginess fall away.
