i had a dream i was subbing for Moonlight and my ass was on dread wringer for some reason and we almost lost every single game because of it and afterwards they very gently told me if we ever played together again to please just play Bloblobber for the love of god

are popular WITH the taggers -- the inkfish that play turf and anarchy modes. even then, though, i find it fascinating, because to the player these brands are CLOTHING brands, not something like spraypaint/graffiti tools/other "disruptive" tools (minus skalop, who is known to make skateboards).

which is a very fun space to play in. in the world of splatoon 3, where chaos and graffiti run rampant, is it reasonable to speculate brands deliberately "tagging" buildings with their logos/mascots in an attempt to advertise? its fun to think ab, but the more reasonable explanation is these brands-

i think its interesting that one of the common graffiti types in splatoon is company mascots and logos, but not defaced in any way that real-world graffiti stickers do to provide negative commentary on a brand. it makes me wonder if it is truly graffiti or instead a deliberate attempt at marketing -
