I have seen people say shit like "most people only like part of the process" of making something. Kinda a trope but I guess kind of true. I love everything but sanding. Post-processing hurts, is boring, and takes a long time. I hate sand, it's rough, coarse, gets everywhere

Got some new equipment recently: found an air compressor on Craigslist and I got a shop vac so I can use the small sandblaster I got last fall. Once I have like 50 to spare, going to order the blasting medium and see if sandblasting is viable for me dolls

I'm prototyping a 1/4 version of Werewolf Violet, which I'm calling Violetta. The last plate should be done later today!
No assembled pics yet, as I'm waiting on some elastic to arrive. I'll be working on sanding and refining the prototype this weekend.

Thank you for the slight loving on this bowl. Bowls are really hard to photograph but I will make an effort to share it once it is fired 💛 I hope it (and my other pieces) survive the kiln! I'm using a new clay and different temperature than I used to, so I'm not sure what to expect.

I have many to decorate, and will be my last little ceramic batch for the year. I want to try to at least somewhat solidify my learning curve, so will probably do some more next month.

Hey all, lil sphinx bjd update. Most joints are in place. Wings and tail still need to be sculpted, but overall I'm happy with how it's progressing.
She will be 1/3 scale. Planning to do a 10.5 neck (for the official head) but offer a 9cm neck option (neck can be swapped out).

On a related note, I got a creepy "age verification" email from bsky because I had flagged a doll pic as mature on here. Never did the verification, not sure what will come of that because it was like a month ago. But fuck that. Not giving my personal info. They're acting like it's secure n shit
How many of you artists have had your shit censored on Tumblr or here, when it actually has NO bits and is not suggestive in any way?
