Thank you for the slight loving on this bowl. Bowls are really hard to photograph but I will make an effort to share it once it is fired 💛 I hope it (and my other pieces) survive the kiln! I'm using a new clay and different temperature than I used to, so I'm not sure what to expect.

I just wanna say that being nice to strangers is so important because, I have been that stranger recently, having a really bad day, and random people being nice to me has genuinely helped

I'm trimming pots today baybee
I have many to decorate, and will be my last little ceramic batch for the year. I want to try to at least somewhat solidify my learning curve, so will probably do some more next month.

Hey all, lil sphinx bjd update. Most joints are in place. Wings and tail still need to be sculpted, but overall I'm happy with how it's progressing.
She will be 1/3 scale. Planning to do a 10.5 neck (for the official head) but offer a 9cm neck option (neck can be swapped out).

On a related note, I got a creepy "age verification" email from bsky because I had flagged a doll pic as mature on here. Never did the verification, not sure what will come of that because it was like a month ago. But fuck that. Not giving my personal info. They're acting like it's secure n shit
How many of you artists have had your shit censored on Tumblr or here, when it actually has NO bits and is not suggestive in any way?
It has happened to me twice (once here, once there). I think I'm being targeted for having a more realistic style and it activates the AI garbage bot

Update: two of them are going to be little planters, as I think they're a little too squat to be mugs. But I was able to use them! Just gonna wait a few days to make more items as wheel throwing hurts
I wedged 8 pieces of clay yesterday and got 4 mugs out of it, two of which seem okay (still gonna see if the others end up okay though once I trim and do handles)
You need a LOT of practice to be good at pottery, and I can't commit the time in this phase of my life, but I still like making pottery

I ordered a lil vintage octopus wall light on eBay, which arrived today, but I opened up the package to a 1000-piece Simpsons mosaic puzzle. Wtf. This has never happened to me before lmao

I've had four people fill out the form; I will try to close it after five entries to give people a chance to pay their invoices (which I haven't sent yet). If there's any issues with that, I will re-open the form in a few days, but otherwise, this might be finished soon if all goes well.
