Anyone remember what happened when the economy was flooded with checks during the first Trump presidency? Inflation skyrocketed (which he later blamed on someone else). Check are nice. The hangover not so nice. We are all still paying for this poor decision.

Went into a big box home do it your self warehouse. Price on the display for what I was buying was $99. Price on the shelf was $106. Looks like inflation has spread and no one is even talking about it. Let’s kill people and destroy landmarks so people do not realize they are being squeezed.

Just looked at Part D drug plans for wife. Drug costs 2025 vs 2026 went up by 100%. Tariffs ? Guess I will be calling my non working republican congressman sitting at home on his hands. Got nothing better to do but gerrymander.

So let’s get this straight - Trump screwed the pooch by getting outmaneuvered by a south American dictator who is now selling soybeans to the Chinese so the US has to bail out soybean farmers with wait for it - tariff revenue. In the meantime your cost of groceries continue to soar. Genius.

So let me understand this - my son who has been a public school teacher for years and still has student loans could become an ICE agent and get forgiveness for his loans. Priorities are important. Teachers or ICE agents. Lifting up the children or deporting the innocent.

Anyone notice how all the data from the government claims unemployment and inflation are down, and there has been expansion in the labor market BUT the data supplied by nongovernment sources such as retail sales all point to a declining economy. Can we really trust the government figures ?

Does it concern anyone else that when Trump says something we view it through the lens of “is he doing this to make him look strong, big, important” not he must be doing this in the best interest of the US. Trump’s best interests are not always our best interests. Actually the majority of the time.

Let me understand this. Apple should manufacture the iPhone in the US. So what happens when the foreign made competition controls market share due to the price differential. Is this not selective enforcement of tariffs ? Targeting specific companies, not industries. Help me understand. #TrumpSlump

We are a financially comfortable retired couple. With all the upheaval we have decided to delay some major projects at the house and maybe limit our trips. Normally we would not consider this but we have doubts there is a plan to get things under control. Simple math problem. #TrumpSlump
