J.V. Dunce is not the other man, he's the ottoman
like he pays attention at all to his kids, they get "the sound of silence"
rich people have you believing that if they can raise taxes on the poor your taxes will go down?
yep, let's not blame trump and blame the system and the democrats instead.
Don't blame trump, blame the system that raised him
You've illustrated the central problem perfectly, even when shown that republican policies have poor outcomes you refuse to admit it. That kind of low info/intentionally obtuse loyalty to the republican party is why we have republicans controlling all branches of government.
No it's how you can objectively score policy positions against each other. There's no way to spin high infant mortality rates in red states as anything but a policy failure for example. Republicans don't like this fact because it exposes your policies as spiteful/evil.
The system is what people are subject to in real life. The health and poverty metrics by state is how you can see what each "team" actually does when they have power. While you're trying to obfuscate to run cover for republicans they are killing people. If you want to talk about ethics that is evil.
What good does it do me if poor people have less money?
You are trying to assert that republicans don't have evil policy positions, right?

You are wrong again, the elites want one party to rule over an oligarchy/kleptocracy.
Until you admit that republican policy positions are evil you're not really arguing in good faith. There's always going to be evil people in the world trying to do evil things, right? If evil people are doing evil things it is ethical to stop them, right?
When the media covers Trump they always play the "I was born yesterday" game where none of Trump's previous lies and grifts are taken into context when reporting on Trump's current lies and grifting. The author in this case is calling this a "trade deal" instead of calling it lies and bullshit.
How about them, why would it be good if poor people had even less money than they currently have?
In the case of Texas the controlling party is objectively evil where that is not true of the controlling party in California. Your belief that it is ethical to empower evil is fundamentally flawed.
The people who make the most money pay most of the taxes doesn't mean they shouldn't pay more in taxes.
A democratic process changed the law, its not "bypassing" the law.

In the land of the blind the one eyed man is king. In the land of pedophiliac republicans democrats are the moral authority.
Objectively more ethical: The Cali law is written as a response to the Tx law. It is a temporary and will end in 2030. It includes a commitment to independent nationwide redistricting based on impartial maps. Versus Tx doing it specifically to protect a pedophile from getting impeached.
You are framing this as abandoning ethics, I doubt anyone voting for this agrees with that assertion.
We may just get those food riots in Bakersfield
NPR included multiple quotes from republicans in this article blaming democrats for the shutdown, what a shocker.
"I went to the nazi site and people were being bigots"
What issue do you think anyone would have discussing politics with a republican? On every issue they have terrible policy positions.
If I was feeding horses in the city and space was at a premium I would feed alfalfa bales and then pellets, no hay. These might be alfalfa bales.
With the majority of other racial demographics already not voting for people like Trump its not unreasonable to say that white people are the problem here and need to address it.
