We want to use this opportunity and post the first post of our LGBTQIA+ info series - starting with: what does the B stand for? 🩷💜💙

The B stands for bisexual, a sexual orientation describing attraction to more than one gender.

“Bi” means “two” — so is bisexuality binary? No! While it is often assumed that being bi means being attracted to “men and women” or “your own gender as well as the opposite”, it is more accurately defined as “the potential to be attracted — romantically and/or sexually — to people of more than one sex and/or gender, not necessarily at the same time, not necessarily in the same way, and not necessarily to the same degree”. People of any gender can identify as bisexual.

People who feel only romantic attraction to more than one sex and/or gender might identify as biromantic.
