I found The Sense of an Ending unremarkable. The narrative was sometimes hard to follow, with a meandering structure that made it difficult to stay engaged. Overall, it felt pretty boring and failed to leave a lasting impression.

A decadeish ago I ordered daylilies from an online company. They sold mixed up fans so you just got what you got in a mixed box. They were super cheap and I planted them on a hillside. After a couple years they were stunning.

I can’t find the company again. Ring any bells?
