The jacket throw into the mud *chefs kiss*.
To say nothing of the fact that the White House already has a Ball Room!
They couldn't filibuster Kavanaugh, they had already tried to filibuster Gorsuch and McConnell eliminated the filibuster for SCOTUS as that time.
They are mad that their punk rock outsider candidate that they fell in love with is a bust.
When I was 10 I ate some Angel Hair pasta.

That night I got a terrible stomach ache, ended up going to the hospital, and had my appendix removed.

The evidence is clear: Angel Hair pasta causes Appendicitis. Consume at your own risk.

I've never eaten it since.
Bill Bryson talks about his appetite for food (and other things) in 1927.
Platner is my age, growing up we were practically firehosed with the whole "Greatest Generation" mythos.

Saving Private Ryan. Band of Brothers. Tom Brokaw's whole deal. Even Indiana Jones.

How you go from that to "Nazi curious" is beyond my understanding.
An insult to Frank Langella. He would still be a better choice today at 87.
They did not underperform. They actually over performed in 2024 compare to every other incumbent party in the world.
This is also CPI which does not include the cost of buying a house, which absolutely exploded in this period and is the biggest purchase most people will make.
Yes, I mean exactly that. Prices went up, never came back down (which you and I know is good but the average voter doesn’t like and blames the incumbent)

I’ve seen tons of people think that “stopping inflation” means “prices go back to 2019 levels.
“Inflation” to the average person means “It takes $2 to buy what $1 did last year”.

The average swing voter doesn’t care about technical definitions. All they know is “things are more expensive, blame incumbent”.
Nobody said it was. Nevertheless prices skyrocketed and to a lot of people who missed the boat the dream of homeownership is dead and rents have turbocharged. People recognize that and blame the incumbent, even if it’s not their fault.
Except the average swing voter doesn’t pay attention to things like that.
Particularly with housing costs, which exploded post 2020.
Except in this case there really was inflation.
But a lot of voters thought “stopping inflation” means “prices go back to 2019 levels”.
This is of course dependent on where the sun sets relative to your viewing setup.
I've had a BenQ TH685i few years that has worked well. They probably have newer better models now.

My # 1 concern was "is the lamp strong enough to work before midnight?" which was an issue with cheaper projectors. I can typically start watching during the last hour of daylight.
I believe this was prompted by an NYT economic writer who was bashing it. He even said that it was "gutted" by Dems because they passed it or something.
