Thanks! I do like the _result_, kinda, but the path to it was not easy (as in, the natural progression towards the result vs hitting the wall every time you take a step). Will likely post again after 6-12 months of using it (and upgrading the distro... oh my 😅)

So much this! TBF Nix itself is not an OS but I can't rely imagine _benefiting_ from Nix without NixOS, and yes, it does feel like "all or nothing" (including packages) approach. In Docker, one could/can still "apt-get install" if needed, and run it minutes after. Nix feels more like Scala
