Beyond delighted to share that I passed my viva on Friday! Thank you to everyone who helped me get here, I couldn’t be more grateful.

Delighted to have started my postdoc on the SABER project yesterday. Thank you so much @neil-r-edwards.bsky.social for the welcome, I’m so glad to be on board and can’t wait to get stuck in!

Absolutely delighted to share that I submitted my DPhil thesis last week after 3.5 years delving into the world of biodiversity data. Thank you to everyone who helped me get to this point. Next stop, a postdoc modelling the evolution of Amazonian biodiversity at the Open University! I can’t wait.

One of the best parts of my PhD was my research stay in Joaquín's group in Madrid, and I'm delighted that the fruits of our labour has now been officially published!

New pre-print alert for my first post! With wonderful collaborators from the MNCN Department of Biogeography & Global Change in Madrid, we found that increased mobilisation of natural history collections can still improve quality and coverage of insect biodiversity data doi.org/10.1101/2024...
