I was wondering about the costs. I think I would have to pay out of pocket too, as you need a doctor's referral. BRCA2 was found in my family, so I just did genetic testing for that, which was covered (negative!). I suppose I can ask for a referral. It can't hurt?

Yes, that makes sense! There are so many classes for anti-depressants. I'm kind of nerd. I read everything about meds - research studies, you name it. I think it's my way of trying to have a feeling of control. 🫠

My mom got terminal cancer, and my little was only 7 months at diagnosis. 💔 So I went back on, and at some point I will wean off again to see how it goes, but a lot has happened and I don't feel ready. Xx

For me, it was the brain zaps, and so I would take a dose immediately - smaller - which would stop it, and like you did the smaller increments over 3 or 4 weeks. I'm glad you sucessfully got off it. I was so pleased, as I was on no meds for the first time in ages. But a couple of years later +

I'm Canadian, too. He won the popular vote by a margin of 1.5%. If a small number of people got off their asses and voted, we wouldn't be in perpetual misery right now. I mad at my neighbours. I didn't get a say, but it impacts my life.

So you agree it means you are fine with the status quo. Exactly as I said. As a Canadian who is being fucked over because of this bullshit, everyone's misery is on you. The world is a much more brutal, miserable place because you were ok with either outcome.

Yes, I was on Celexa as well and my doctor described Lexapro it as a "cleaner" version. I have absolutely no side effects. You don't feel it, if that makes sense. So it's very safe for people with a history of addiction. 9 years clean though!! Amazing!
