The Cardinals have processed into the Sistine Chapel. It's fascinating to watch their body language - many of them are staring up at their surroundings, taking it all in. The sense of anticipation is enormous and suddenly they all seem very human. x

Sending solidarity to my many friends at Westminster Quaker Meeting. I was nurtured and supported by them in the early days of my faith and I owe them much gratitude. Why on Earth were they raided? Truly shocking. www.quaker.org.uk/news-and-eve...?

Happy International Women's Day! Here's the Mother of God practicing her right hook on the devil. Let's work for a world where all oppressive structures - political, cultural and religious - are challenged and transformed. Equal pay, equal employment opportunities. Solidarity! The Archbishop's statue is one of the 20th Century Martyrs on the west front of Westminster Abbey.

On this day, 131 years ago, three men made religious vows at Pusey House in Oxford. Later that day they travelled to East London to serve the marginalised and poor. It was the beginning of a re-emergence of the #Franciscan tradition within Anglicanism. We continue their work to this day. #anglican
Tonight’s obsession: this 4th Century depiction of Christ the Good Shepherd, kept at the National Roman Museum in Italy. I can’t stop looking at it! Seventeen hundred years old. Adorable. #Christian #ChristianArt
It’s the feast of Christ's Baptism. Jesus asserts his humanity by insisting that John baptises him, whilst his divinity is confirmed by the Father through the Spirit. In a short passage of scripture we get all the Christological and Trinitarian testimony we need. youtu.be/d1wd2jWZkk8?...
