"The brute force that the border once unleashed out of sight — in the desert or behind the locked doors of detention centers — is now erupting on our streets," says @jeanguerre.bsky.social.
My question: Who is willing to stand against Israeli apartheid and genocide? Who is willing to stand against Zionism which destroys the Palestinian people? Listen. Speak out. Care. Act. www.youtube.com/watch?v=q5Oa...

Friends, I've been off social media for awhile. Feels good. I don't have a lot to say anymore. I prefer real face to face conversations. So when you can, if you can, come visit and we'll walk and talk together and sit and pray together, and sing, share a good cuppa. Blessings.
It's simple. AOC wants to be president. So she votes to continue genocide and not offend those who fund genocide and future presidents. Sad.

When I was little, the U.S. military came to our home at gunpoint and took me and my family away. We were imprisoned for years in barbed wire camps simply because we were Japanese American. I have spent my life telling that story, hoping it would never be repeated.

This week, I’m hosting The Daily Show Tuesday through Thursday.

It’s my first time hosting anything on TV. Ever.

I’ve spent years writing behind the scenes, learning from truly great and talented people. Now, for three nights, I get to sit at the desk and do it myself.

The first time Charlie Chaplin used his voice in a film, he wielded it to forcefully condemn the rising forces of fascism around the globe.

Will we listen to his words today?

Dear NPR, you are complicit in this genocide. Your reporting is cowardly and shameful.

That one person can drag us into a war without consulting or even notifying Congress, or our allies, or fully explaining to the American people why this is necessary, is absolutely bonkers.

Reminder that Congress has the power to stop all of this. Where the hell are they? Hello?
Before evening prayer I saw an innocent brownie on the community table and ate it. Turned out to be a lot less innocent than I thought. I felt like Moses - "high" on a mountain top. Still feeling " a little weird." If you want to see the hilarity go to our YouTube channel for Community of Peace.
" I'm feeling a little weird." Not how I normally start evening prayer with the gathered community. Probably not found in any Book of Prayer. But last night it was the only way to begin b/c I had no idea what was going to come out my mouth.

I love seeing the massive #NoKings turnouts in major cities, but what I love even more are the hundreds and hundreds of small, rural towns that had relatively bigger turnouts compared to their populations 💙🙏
For those who were on the streets yesterday with others in solidarity for democracy and against authoritarian rule...what was it like? I'd like to hear from you. I think a lot of good happened. What goodness did you experience?
It's a good start.

SO glad to be with the thousands in Charlottesville, VA! Good conversations. Lovely people. Oh and one young woman driving past smiled and gave me the finger. I looked stunned. So she gave it to me again with an even bigger smile. I just smiled.

A cop doing the right thing? I think that i might need my fainting chair!
Do U.S. citizens still have the right of freedom of speech and protest? The recent behavior and threats from the Trump administration would say no. Speak out!

Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem called Los Angeles a “city of criminals” and not a city of immigrants. But like its name, Los Angeles is a city of angels. We protect and look out for one another, especially the most vulnerable.
Dear clergy and church friends. Please consider refocusing your time together around children and young people. We had a weekend retreat here at Community of Peace with young children and young adults. It caused me to realize something: our time together needs to change for all our sakes.
