Bugger me sideways that was some storm last night. It arrived almost on the stroke of midnight with fierce winds and 1.68" of rain in the first hour, then another 0.54" over the next four hours. Woke me up two hours after I'd gone to bed and kept me awake for another hour.

posted too. There's already one active for a good portion of northern Texas, and I see a couple of flash flood warnings too. It never rains but it pours. So true of this part of the world.

I believe the clocks change this weekend in the UK. Next week for us. I welcome it. Hate dark mornings. Ugh.

predicting that the first round of storms will arrive here around 11pm, so, bedtime, although being Friday a fair number of people will only just be going out around then. Kids, eh?

There's a flood watch posted until 1pm Saturday, and as the storms get closer there'll be a severe thunderstorm watch
