Dunno about you but if a migrant had managed to come from Central America to cross the Rio Grande, and the US border, all the while shepherding a herd of diseased cattle thousands of miles undetected, I say they should get some sort of medal, let alone documentation.

It is, and the easiest way to come to that conclusion is to see how people responded to the Ukrainian refugees compared with say, a Syrian, or an Afghan.
