For dinner, try The Roasting Tin books by Rulmini Iyer. I own most of her books because they’re so easy to make and truly delicious results.

I especially recommend The Roasting Tin Around The World, or The Green Roasting Tin.

One has my favourite chilli recipe, the other pilau rice and mushrooms.
To clarify, that was lunch.
Anything in a pitta with a bit of mustard. Usually sliced chicken and salad. The mustard matters.

Or beans on toast, if I’m feeling decadent, with paprika stirred in and sprinkled with grated cheese.

Today, smoked tofu and beetroot were surprisingly tasty *and* filling on top of a mixed salad
I’m very sorry to hear that, but remember the joy you brought with that bedsheet. It’s the joy that matters.
Beautiful and unsavoury is the perfect bio.
Not a fan of Rankle, but today I guided The Boy to a 100% correct first time result so I feel this achievement needs to be shared.
(I have to clarify he’s apparently achieved this before.)
Thank you. For the bar recommendation and the tip about the serum. I had been wondering if something like that might be worth a go so I feel reassured it wasn’t a completely daft thought.
Really? I’ve never actually ventured inside because of how overpowering the smell is from the door. I’ll give them a go as that’s an easy one to get hold of thanks.
And I’ll hope the tin I got with my first random purchase of solid shampoo is an appropriate size!
I think I quite liked their bottled varieties so I’m willing to give it a go - I’ve accepted I’ll have to try lots before I find the best available, rather than finding something that’s perfect.
Ohhh thank you! I’ve found a few reviews but they weren’t on sites that I know. I feel a bit more confident looking at this one for reviews.
Thank you. I only asked because of the mention in the epilogue - you’re the only person I could think of to ask.
Yes! I always come away with something interesting and useful, and I often learn something too.
Unfortunate the one near us closed during the pandemic. I will look out for them when I’m out and bout though.
That’s a good idea for next time I find such a shop. I do enjoy visiting them.
To your knees?! Wow. I thought below my waist was long during covid. I probably don’t help myself letting it go long, and it means I have to find really good conditioner, hence my plea for recommendations.
Oh! The bat. Impressive.
Gosh that’s impressive. Or you have really big bottles. I’m two every 2-3 weeks, and I try to be frugal.
Sadly, all the local zero waste shops closed down during the pandemic.
I’m wondering if @olifranklinwallis.bsky.social or a follower of his can help me out with suggestions?
I’m sick of all the plastic waste so I’m determined to find an answer.
😂 I appreciate the honesty. The first one I tried was awful, so I understand, but also it would massively reduce my plastic waste if I could successfully switch.
Anyone?
Does anyone use solid shampoo and/or conditioner?

I’ve been trying them out and would appreciate more recommendations.

(So far Grom or Hair Blocks are winning, but I’m not 100% won round yet.)
I’m mostly shocked to realise they are still in use 😬
