A bit of Tudoring in the rain. Thanks very much Little Moreton Hall folk, this treasure of a place is as warm, welcoming and fabulously wonky as 30 years ago ♥️👍🏼
Thanks @Bristolcathedral fab, unique, dancing in my favourite sacred Bristol spots. Wondered a few times what my 8x great granddad, memorialised there made of it all. Peak moment was indie-ing to the Stone Roses, surrounded by folk belting out Wham! 😂
A (rare) bit of blogging and mandala-making, celebrating Ancestral Lineage Healing and its fruitfulness. Belated Happy Lammas all northern hemisphere folk!

Edging into mellow fruitfulness season here 🙏🏼
Garden flowers for the beloved wise ancestors 🙏🏼 These are also for everyone in the world today and tomorrow who can’t bury their dead, can’t take them flowers, cos they’re in the midst of famine, genocide or they’re en route to a better life. May the ancestors surround them with love and strength.

Absolutely dystopian juxtaposition from the Guardian front page. Difficult to understand how anyone of decency and conscience can defend this government at this point. Just sheer moral degeneracy to arm a state that does this and arrest people for objecting. Wtf are we doing as a country?
Joanna Macy 1929 - 2025. Hats off to you and your might life - thanks 🙏🏼 Stepped outside and a newly popped hibiscus flower, all rain-bejewelled and gorgeous, was swaying in the breeze. Reminds me of your life. May we all keep on keeping on, practising with and for all that lives ❤️🌍💪🏼
Stunning buck moon, all salmon pink and huge against the deep lilac (still very warm) Bristol sky. Everything’s miraculous for a minute.
Sunflower watching the waxing buck moon rise 🌻🙏🏼
Early morning surprise visitor. Cat meet Buddha, Buddha meet cat.

Wonderful fox & flower art from @mariastrutz.bsky.social it looks like it’s going to be a very good foxglove year
Sunday kitchen sink (non) drama. The kitchen homes the Buddha, the Buddha homes the Malabar spinach, the Malabar spinach homes the aphids 🙏🏼
Portcullis panic. Hoping and praying the gatekeepers a) can tell we’re local plebs, rather than rebel noblesses b) have run out of hot oil 🙃
First light garden-pottering (miraculously, the mollusc kin, partying in last night’s welcome rain, didn’t eat all the plant babies 😅)

May ‘baby-sized projects’ add much to this precious world’s creativity and good stuff 🌍🙏🏼
This book baby is (unbelievably) 9 today. Thx to all of you who’ve had a read. Thx to those of you who’ve taken time to let me know it’s been helpful - which has (to my inclusive gladness), included parents and those who are childless through circumstance, loss and happenstance rather than choice.
(Oh and the volunteer skirret which germinated - planted in 2021 - we never know what happens to seeds sown with love and hope)
Reform are currently polled to win the next general election. What might this look like, and what we can all do to counteract that whilst there’s still time?
Seeing Arron Banks (standing as the Reform mayor) in Bristol with a bazooka (complete with US flag) “trained on the Labour, Green and Lib Dem goons that have wrecked Bristol," sharpens the mind.
