МЯУУУУ! he/they. Sometimes feel like a she. But only sometimes.
Sometimes I think it would be fun to write a story set in a world where everything in Chick tracts is true. It would be the grimmest of grimdarks.

Maybe the most fun thing to do in games with a photo mode is to create a dozen photos and then stitch them together into a large landscape.

Nothing more fun than seeing the details of cities which have never existed.

Played Transport Fever 2 all weekend. Feeling a weird parasocial connection with whoever did the track laying algorithms. This person is now simultaneously my kindest best friend, and my mocking, utterly mad best friend.

I imagine them in Zurich, looking at train tracks, and laughing endlessly.

In 1943 Norman Rockwell painted democracy’s portrait. An editor from Kansas helped make it possible. • Kansas Reflector
When the Saturday Evening Post published an offensive antisemitic article in 1942, the furor threatened to sink the magazine. The Post's editor and much of the staff were sacked and a young former Kan...

Trying to reopen the haunted car wash but I discover I must appease the crocodile god first.

One of the inhabited caves on Titan is known as the Gardens. An unsurprisingly lush place where individuals and groups make settlements free of central planning.

Kansas. Standing by the old quarry. Heard owl hoots. The occasional coyote yip. Fortunately, did not hear any footsteps. That's the sort of place where Hitchhiker would show up. Ask you for a light. And then no one would ever see you again.

I love conveyor belt games. But they always give me a headache after a while.

Thinking being a ghost isn't so bad. Would go over to the in-laws house and try to trigger their motion detection lights in a morse code pattern. Encoding something creepy like "I'm alf and i'm here to eat your cats!!"

But probably wouldn't work. Mainly because I don't know morse. They don't either

The simplest fix? Work the refs. Try to control the narrative. Don’t subject yourself to questions that would force you to take an unpopular stand. Don’t acknowledge the real trade-off behind the reconciliation bill and the grievous harms it will inflict on Kansans. #ksleg

Dreamed the ghost of David Lynch came to visit. Told me he's partnering with Mark Frost again. This time, they're going to remake Quincy ME. "I think newer generations need a medical examiner," he said in a ghost whisper.

Mega Mecha Bear. The final boss of Medieval Dynasty. Surrounded by a thousand bandits who worship her daily. Guarded by five hundred rabid wisents. Led by a little girl priestess who cries out: "blood for the bear god! honey tarts for me!"

Taking the trash out. Neighbor is quietly yelling at his cat to come in. "Bubba! Bubba! Bubba! I know you can hear me! Bubbbbaaaa!"

Bubba is a handsome orange gentleman. Just gleefully rolling around on the sidewalk and ignoring all mentions of his name.

I think it's now possible to make a poli-sci course that equips one for modern political analysis better than most classic theory and has a syllabus sourced entirely from random internet posts.

My mother died when I was 2. Had a dream last night that she was still alive. Hidden away with Scientology's Sea Org all these years & decades.

She said she was sorry she missed out on everything with me. But she was "Clear" and that made it all worth it.

Every day, I tell my cat: "be a good boy." Then immediately follow with some advice: "don't ever play with guns."

Every night when I see the water heater is still running, I give it a little bow and say "thank you". This appeases the vengeful machine spirit. And I can possibly go another day without having to re-light the pilot.

Elon Musk claims it’s a crime to publish the names of the engineers who work for him who have access to systems they shouldn’t. Here they are: Akash Bobba, Edward Coristine, Luke Farritor, Gautier Cole Killian, Gavin Kliger, and Ethan Shaotran. Come and arrest me.

Modern supply chains don't look like trade theory 101!

They involve constant border crossings, each now hit by tariffs.

Tariffs raise prices, but the more important thing they do is disrupt supply relationships.
