Ahead of the annual budget setting process, we’re sharing some useful information on how the council’s budget is spent across different services in our #Timetotalkbudget campaign.
Revenue expenditure is spending on day-to-day costs of services including staff salaries, maintenance of buildings and general supplies, commissioning, and equipment.

Capital expenditure is spending on assets such as roads, new schools, redevelopment schemes and the major renovation of buildings.
🏃‍♀️ 500 pupils from 14 primary schools across #Bridgend County Borough took part in the @swpolice.bsky.social ‘Race against hate’ event, helping to educate and raise awareness of inclusion, respect, and unity across our communities.

🚗 When our streets are blocked by poor parking, buses, bin lorries and even emergency vehicles can struggle to get through.
Please #ThinkBeforeYouPark and help us keep Bridgend moving safely.
A few extra feet of space can help larger vehicles pass safely.
