So, this is about the difference between a "base" and a "facility" within a base?
brianwolfman.bsky.social
Okay. Thanks. I don't see it, and I don't know what "views/trends" that you're referring to exactly.

Where do these percentages come from? I asked the original poster, who did not respond. Now, I'm asking you (because you reposted them). They may be correct, but what's the basis for them?

Pope Leo quotes Hannah Arendt:

“The ideal subject of totalitarian rule is not the convinced Nazi or the convinced Communist, but people for whom the distinction between fact and fiction and the distinction between true and false no longer exist."

First, question when does the author of the “obscure document” get fired? See www.washingtonpost.com/business/202....

Second question: What economic theory supports the notion that lowering the pay for H-2A workers & making them pay for their own housing will increase the supply of those workers?
Trump administration says immigration enforcement threatens higher food prices
U.S. farmers face labor shortages and potential food price hikes due to Trump’s immigration policy, the administration acknowledged in a Federal Registry document.

Where do these percentage increases come from? I'd like to read more about it. Thanks!

It's a statistical tie among whites.

And not at all close in Staten Island.

Very good point.

“We fired all the competent career people and now it’s high-level loyalists trying to manage it all somehow” is run of the mill contempt. It’s not an exculpatory alternative.

If a judge orders me to do X, and my tale is I couldn’t comply bc I fired all my staff, that’s a confession not a defense.

Gene really is the expert. (And a great person to work with, which I had the pleasure to do years ago.) I look forward to listening.

I remain puzzled by the notion that Trump & his agenda are vulnerable because they garner more opposition than support in polling. The depressing thing is that, generally, the polls are close, often with large minorities supporting him & his agenda. Does an authoritarian need more than that?
brianwolfman.bsky.social
True. But are the prices for lung-disease drugs dropping? If so, by how much?
brianwolfman.bsky.social
Very high. I predict that in the bottom of the first Brandon Marsh will make a spectacular diving catch on a Mookie Betts' liner to center preventing a triple that would have been a one-out single if he hadn't dove.

The 7-year-old is quite, quite wrong.

It's particularly difficult to have a record citation for a false proposition.
brianwolfman.bsky.social
When I first read the opinion, the thing that struck me immediately were the passages of factual assertions unaccompanied by citations.

That's a little unfair . . . because what did he sing that wasn't great?

Hendrix All Along the Watchtower for sure. Cash's Hurt very close.
Also Cash doing Cohen's Bird on a Wire.
KD Lang doing Cohen's Hallelujah
Chris Farlow doing the Stones' Out of Time
Stevie Wonder doing Fab Four's We Can Work It Out

To say that he was the 5th vote is to presume that he might have gone the other way. But he didn't. Just like the others that voted his way.

Sure, standards for all sorts of diagnoses change. And sure, I can find all sorts of stuff on my own. But I was just asking if you had a citation for evidence supporting your 20% assertion. Is the answer no?
