DREW STRUZAN
1947 - 2025

One of the greatest movie poster artists and illustrators of our generation passed away yesterday.

Everything he drew was epic and magical.

Rest in peace, Drew Struzan.

Thank you for sharing your talent with the world.

Watched the new FF movie tonight. Enjoyed it. Wasn’t a huge fan of Galactus’s design. Face looked a bit goofy, but overall a nice solid flick. 3.5 stars.

I really enjoyed it so, decided to draw the character. Just working out the Light Cycle. WIP. Yeah, can’t wait for it to come out on 4K or digital.

Someone called my detailing style on these works Colleen Crackle, and I approve this message.

Here's a T. Rex bored to death trying to bite their own tail. My partner asked me to animate it in stop motion, after she watched a video about the very important topic of "could T. Rex chew its own tail like a dog". The puppet is still a work in progress 🦖

Pretty good, I like that you are drawing scenes and not just a pin up. Watch the head size with the perspective shots. Technically the right elbow would be the closest to the viewer. His forehead needs to be shrunken a bit, that part should recede.

I don’t go to theaters anymore. But I will check it out once it hits 4K. Loved the first movie, second was OK, and I’m looking forward to this one.

I liked how it started a bit… but the ending sort of just exploded.

If you haven’t seen it, this footage from @apnews.com is incredibly important.

The intent here seems unmistakable, in two ways: (1) just read the genocide convention, here it **absolutely** is, and (2) this level of infrastructural destruction is, no question, meant as pre-development demolition.

Have you seen Catwoman?! The original FF movie? Aquaman?! The Flash?! I don’t trust you….😉

Thank you! Yeah I liked that suit quite a bit as well.

Rest in peace, muse. Rest in peace, Diane Keaton. Probably my first “movie crush” (sorry Jane Fonda in Barefoot in the park, you were second). She was 79.
So sad.
