I read this earlier, and it’s a useful framing - offer our support for those in uniform who honour their oath. But I feel like there’s an important corollary that’s missing - which is that we will also insist that our leaders hold those accountable who dishonour their oath.

I haven’t seen anyone comment on the irony of putting massive tariffs on exports from Brazil into the US, in an effort to harm the Brazil’s economy - while simultaneously pissing off the Chinese so that they stop buying soybeans from American farmers and instead buy them… from Brazil.
