🌱🌲 After 30+ quiet years,
our Blue Atlas Cedar has spoken—
offering up its very first cones,
like blue/green candles held to the sky.
These trees don't usually produce cones until they’re at least 20–30 years old, such a milestone in our yard’s history.

Cone Appearance:Green and upright when immature (like candles sticking up from the branch).
Will eventually turn brown and begin to disintegrate while still on the tree to release seeds—cedar cones don’t usually fall off whole.
