I read somewhere a few days ago that creativity is dampened by the stress hormone cortisol, so I think giving yourself grace is okay, can not draw for a bit.

If you do wanna keep up the habit I suggest doing something like a gift or something so you're "obligated" but not really

We often don't talk about our woes as much as we'd like. Be it due to anxiety, indifference/assumptions of others, our general attitude, and many other reasons.

What I'm saying is that it's easy to assume that folks are alright when they keep to themselves. Mindfulness is important. 💜

I stopped getting scared about being bad at drawing shoes and instead started drawing shoes and now I'm not scared of drawing shoes and can draw them fine. Someone smarter than me can probably make some sort of connection between those two things.
