This saturday we have our first monthly winter drop off at @deeprootsdistilleryusa in Sturbridge. This is in conjunction with @stilllifefarm monthly winter CSA drop off. The drop off is pre order only. We will not be there to meet you so get those orders in online by 6pm this Friday.

Bacon is back in stock! We’ve been out of four types of bacon for over a month now, but the long wait is over and they’re all back in stock. One of them, jowl bacon, has become remarkably more popular in the past year. Maybe it’s time to try some out and see what all the buzz is about.
Lots of new piglets this past week. Two of our sows gave birth out on pasture. Sometimes they choose to use the shelters given to them and sometimes they make their own nests. This time both made their own nests.

With some help from @contourlinesagroforestry we are making some BIG changes on our farm. In the past 2 weeks we have dug lots of swales on contour and will be planting our silvopasture into the tops of them in the coming months. We plan on writing more details in next months newsletter.

Who doesn’t love a meat snack stick? Our classic stick is all an all around solid choice, and our spicy stick will heat up your life. These make a great snack sliced up for school lunches or on a charcuterie board.
The second stop on our sausage adventure is Krazy Kielbasa. This is a linked sausage packed with pork, bacon, some normal Kielbasa spices (garlic, black pepper) and some not-so-normal Kielbasa spices (allspice, anise, caraway seed, marjoram). Time to light up that grill and get Krazy! -
As we wait for our next batch of pigs to be processed we are starting to run a little low on some fan favorites. Now would be a good time to branch out and try something different. Our bacon ends are just bite size chunks of the bacon you have come to know and love. A nice topping for summer salads
