So when the news broke about the #shooting of the National Guardsman in DC, my first thought was "please do not let the suspect be an #immigrant. Now the Orange Monster the additional excuse to crack down even more. His #racism & #xenophobia will be that much more unbound. Alas.

Half yr ago I started w/ @myfitnesspal.bsky.social have used it to effortlessly lose 55 lbs do far. Clearly my food & weight issues were #portion-control, period. My Doc is thrilled with my blood labs too. So my #Thanksgiving will entail calorie tracking, b/c in it to win it. #weight-loss

Have not been here in quite a while. Seems not much has changed: SCOTUS continues to allow Trump do to pretty much everything he damn well pleases, as long at it makes the Heritage Foundation, the Project 2025 folks & Fox News viewers happy. Counting down the days til 2028...

News: In a prisoner swap, the Venezuelan government released 10 Americans and U.S. permanent residents in exchange for more than 200 Venezuelans whom the U.S. had sent to El Salvador.

I am on a listserv for the Soc Sec Admin & an email came overnight. In it, the agency was rejoicing over passage of the Big Ugly Bill. It is wrong to use an official listserv to rejoice over a political win for Trump. No past administration ever used govt listservs for partisan purposes. Ever.

Sadly the continuing fallout of the Biden aging ungracefully in office, @myoneandonlykat.bsky.social, is that cognitive decline no longer is disqualifying. Maybe advancing senility will make Trump less effective at corruption & bigotry? Makes him less of an unmitigated asshole? One can hope.
It’s overdue for the media to call out Cheeto Mussolini’s cognitive decline (as if there was any in the first place).
