it's a shame the true ending is locked so far in, because it adds a lot...
but looking up the scenes online instead is probably better, because 90% of the game is the same 😭
it's a good entry for silent hill and like 80% of the way there, hopefully things can improve for silent hill from here

the biggest problem is that, if I didn't have to play it 3.5 times for all the endings, the issues with the action wouldn't be as prevalent
but having to fight the same 3-5 enemies for 30 hours, with many being unskippable is....

after having gotten all the silent hill f endings with smacky I feel like we've been caught in a time loop LMAO
it's a really complex game, the game itself really drags down a strong story and presentation
but there's a lot of good things and a lot of strong moments so I'd still say it's good

the most unfortunate thing about it is that the battles are a bit bland, and the music is by Infamous Shithead Koichi Sugiyama, and unfortunately it sounds like Off Brand Dragon Quest, like damn this man really has NO versatility
but fortunately he has a dinosona so you can beat him up

i think it was a fun game, just a goofy little rpg where you start as a fish and evolve into a human (except you can skip the whole ape part, and evolve into a lizardman instead)
and also there's lunarians, who are also lizards

i had played 46 Okunen Monogatari (a pc98 predecessor to EVO search for eden) and i had forgotten to post this screenshot
