This is the Boomerang Archive!
Collecting the many idents, bumpers and continuity from Boomerang TV around the globe.
From Toys, to it's first rebrand, and even some other obscurities from the past couple decades. And maybe even some fan made content.
Another odd crossover from the 2004 brand.
This "Now for More" bumper featured Huckleberry Hound and a cow.

The cow's design is taken from the 1954 short, "Homesteader Droopy".

"Thank You, Ma'am!"

So, this isn't Boomerang related. But I've come across a bunch of old recorded VHS tapes. Part of me curious if any continuity is on them, but I don't really room to keep them all.

Magilla Gorilla is also featured on the front, but no further details
Apparently, this was for sale on eBay, but item is no longer listed.

Did you know that Boomerang had it's own Magazine in the UK? Toonerang was launched in late 2004, and published by Panini comics, the same company for Cartoon Network's magazine. Each month would consist of comic stories, puzzles and news on the channel and website, plus free gifts included.

Happy 40th Anniversary to The Raccoons.
The Show first debuted on July 4th 1985.

Boomerang picked up the show and ran in the UK and Pan-european feeds in 2006 to 2010.

Yes, this was a thing. Boomerang UK used to run a Christmas Party in June once or twice, with specials running a whole day.

"Boomerang will take no responsibility if snow doesn't actually fall in the month of June."

Well, with the current heat that's been going, we probably WOULD like some snow.

Today marks the 25th anniversary of Boomerang UK.
The channel launched on May 27th 2000, less than 2 months after the US, and originally ran from 6am to midnight. Many classic shows from Cartoon Network moved here, while Tom & Jerry, Scooby Doo and The Flintstones would alternate for a couple years.

Since streaming services rarely plug their nostagibles, I'll do them a favour.

ITVX has recently added a some new kids classics, and are all currently free to watch (no premium subscription required).
These include Dogtanian, Willy Fog, and Count Duckula.

A carrot and a stick of dynamite can only equal looniness.

It's our Star of this month: Looney Tunes.
