Just finished Wings of Ash & Flame by Jocelyn Bleu-a 4⭐ dark fantasy full of magic, phoenixes, and court intrigue. The world is lush, the emotions are raw, and the heroine’s rise from ruin is epic.

The story balances passion, heartbreak, and resilience so perfectly that I didn’t want it to end.

Fast-paced, full of emotion, and one of the more original YA fantasies I’ve read lately. Kel is fierce, the phoenix racing is wild, and the slow-burn romance? Top tier.

A unique cursed egg premise, solid world-building, and a protagonist you can root for. A bit heavy at times, but overall an imaginative and engaging fantasy read. Highly recommend for fans of magical curses & morally complex heroes.
