An important distinction and why having a #PKMastery system is so vital. Also, goals only help if you know where you want to go, but #pkm can spark new ideas and pathways to deeper learning.
It looks like maybe my alt text didn’t come through when I used my scheduled publisher app. Hmm.

If you missed Teaching in Higher Ed 591, Rethinking Student Attendance Policies w/ Simon Cullen + Danny Oppenheimer, I encourage you to check it out. Their research shows when students choose attendance and assessment paths, they engage more deeply.

This quote has stayed with me ever since reading The Art of Gathering.
I’ve been thinking a lot about feedback, lately. Nice to have Readwise resurface this quote for me this morning.
Delighted to be getting reacquainted with @screencastsonline.bsky.social and see a full tutorial on my beloved media tracking app: Sequel 🔥❤️
Turns out, as I went to follow up on this post, that I actually already bought Hope Circuits in December 2024. Must be a sign that I had better get going... :-)
It was all well worth it for all the richness @empittsdonahoe.bsky.social brought into the conversation, though. I’ve listened to it twice, already, and have a feeling I will, again. So grateful for all Emily put into this experimental episode and she’s such a joy to talk with…
How nice to read your message, Cyndi, after feeling some vulnerability about putting this one out into the world. Me: “Umm… You’re think of yourself as a bad writer, H? I thought you were just going to share your made up grade.” 😳 /cont
Thanks for thinking to share about this wonderful imagery from @drjessicariddell.bsky.social, Peter. Since hearing about Hope Circuits, it’s been on my reading list but haven’t gotten there yet. Thx for confirming my suspicions she would be excellent for @tihe.bsky.social. “Wonder engine” 🔥🔥🔥
It’s so good. That, plus her other one on dignity in leadership. Good stuff.
Reading Donna Hicks’ work on dignity these past couple of years has been transformative.
"I'm picking up what you're putting down."

Reply from one of my colleagues about something I had sent her. I hadn't heard this expression in a long, long time and am now seeking out the next conversation or email I might have/write in which it would be appropriate to reply with that. 😂
I get the strangest spam email for potential guests for the podcast. It’s clear they’re not targeting a show about teaching and it is just mass email to any podcasters out there. I do get a good chuckle out of imagining if I actually had any of these people on the show, though. 😂
Taking a look at @testringer.bsky.social's Traveling w/ OmniFocus 4 course and wishing I would have taken it prior to our most recent trip. In the intro, Tim says how important it is to plan for when you return. Yeah. Let's just say I didn't really think that through this last time. 🥵
Probably helps if I spell his last name right: Holsinger
