i was playing deltatraveler last night as i hadn't played the game in about a year and wanted to see how well it held up, got to this cutscene and my ssd disconnected which bugged the game out completely and did This LOL

kris, susie, and noelle are on the bridge to snowdin in the gg!underfell world, while sans and papyrus (from said world) are at the other end awaiting them, challenging them with all sorts of traps. the dialogue shown is used in the cutscene, however the portrait is bugged out (seemingly using a placeholder that got loaded into memory) due to the drive the game was running on accidentally being ejected midway through the cutscene.

the ssd pretty much got disconnected as soon as qc left the scene (my laptop just does that, not sure why), the portraits stopped showing for a few bits of text and then This Raisin appeared. i was playing this in a vc with some friends watching and we were laughing our asses off at it LOL

as a side note; overall the game's pretty alright and very impressive for what it is, but i wasn't very keen on some of the dialogue and i felt some of the attacks were kinda bull or annoying to go up against (personally i think the sans fight is a bit Too much of a step up in difficulty? there's an easy mode i know but it felt like it went from being lightly slapped in the face to being punched directly in the gut without warning. i'm sure it's Fine for more experienced players but i just think it's a bit of a Large jump in difficulty compared to what you face throughout the rest of the adventure, could just be me though). i think people have already dogged on the game enough for that though so i'm not gonna add much fuel to the fire. that's just me talking about pacifist btw, i didn't bother touching obliteration. still, solid game in the end, i had some fun with revisting it. i hope the new wip update can improve upon what's been laid out already and iron out some of the more irritating issues the game has

i recently added in 6 new items into Stomping Ensues and have been putting in some other new things to polish the game up a bit. here's a lil tease at some of the new stuff (both of the items and the fixed up mod menu)!

Player 2 killing Player 1 using the Power Core item, essentially the Invincibility item of Stomping Ensues.

Player 1 running away after having thrown a boomerang in front of Player 4, where it'll eventually turn back around and hit Player 4 if they were to stop moving and not get killed by walking straight into it instead.

Player 1 (in the Star team) blowing away Player 3 with the Windblowver item. All the item does is blow opponents away, which makes it extremely useful in gamemodes where getting direct kills on the opponents isn't the main objective.

we handed up our end-of-year art projects a bit ago now but we were allowed to take pictures of what we had made before we handed them up;
so here’s the few-weeks-long and one-day pieces i did, i think they turned out pretty cool looking

A screen-print poster that features a gridded design, with each square depicting a sector of a controller. The top left and bottom right sectors are the left and right halves of a Super Nintendo controller, whilst the bottom left and top right sectors are the left and right halves of a Sega Megadrive/Genesis controller.
The piece uses 3 colours worth of paint, and is inspired by the quadrant works of Andy Warhole and the “Look Mickey” piece by Roy Lichtenstein for the colours.

A still-life piece using multiple different mediums for each object on display.
Front and centre in the piece, there’s a Mickey Mouse (Steamboat Willie) plush with a custom made Super Mario keychain resting on his back arm and a Wii U Gamepad lying on his legs. Surrounding him is a 2DS on his left, a Nintendo Switch Joy-con hidden beneath his back arm, a Nintendo Wii that he is sitting against, a Wiimote on his right, and a Sega Megadrive/Genesis controller below the Wiimote.

Currently working on a small update to my game, Stomping Ensues! I'm hoping to get it out in a couple of days.

It'll add in a new gamemode, make code more readable for mods, as well as add in some new settings, fixes, and some additional tweaks to improve the overall experience.

A demonstration of the newly added Notices.
Upon a player being eliminated from the game, a notice will be placed on the screen saying who was taken out of the game (or how many people depending on the mode, like here in the Detonator mode).

A teaser of the new gamemode, showcasing the TV thumbnail meant for it. The thumbnail features a Meep and a Sock Puppet approaching a Voom, who's holding a gear and has gears surrounding them on the ground.

An image showcasing a setting which uses the skin icons in the CSS panel rather than the idle sprite of the skins.

Morp, a character who's playable in Stomping Ensues, is having his 6th birthday on the 14th of January. While he's not super important to Stomping Ensues itself, he was the first character I had made for the universe that Stomping Ensues, and my other projects like PROTOMEEP, take place in. He's pretty special to me and I always like to celebrate his big day with some sort of drawing or creation, in this case, an update to Stomping Ensues.

bolloween is around 86% completion rn, it's mainly just the final boss, credits and 3 cutscenes that need implemented at. hoping i can get this out before december but we'll see, cutscenes might prove to be a fair bit of work with school in the way
