This term, our Learning and Engagement team has been delivering the Powering Up programme with BOA Digital. The students have been learning to use Blender to create virtual exhibitions. It’s been amazing to see the pupils learn how to use Blender and see what they’ve created!

We can hardly believe that the Water Bots weekend fun in Dudley was three weeks ago! 😱 On our last day at Warrens Hall Nature Reserve, we took them into Netherton tunnel and we quickly realised they are spectacular in the dark… 🤔💡

From Canalside workshops to indoor activities at Little Geeks at MAC (Midlands Art Centre), our engagement team has been busy! We showcased Mother Nature: EcoDash, introduced children to green screen and encouraged them to have a go at drawing in VR. Well done, team! 💪🏻💪🏾💪🏿

We had a great time at Warrens Hall Nature Reserve at the weekend. We loved the opportunity to share the bots in a beautiful location, as well as children having a go at our engineering workshops. Thank you to the teams involved and to everyone who visited us! 💛

We’re still not over the Water Bots by @mcandy_ premiering in Brindleyplace on Wednesday! The fun isn’t over as they’re off on a weekend trip to Dudley for our family day. 🤗

They’ll be performing all day alongside some crafty, family-friendly engineering workshops. Drop in friendly.

It’s been a busy day introducing Year 8 pupils to art curation with the help of our guest artist and curator, okcandice. 🤩 The pupils were then set the task of creating a unique exhibition space using Metasteps. We loved seeing their outcomes, ranging from exploring different cultures to horror!
